SYSID 2009 - Final paper submission
Regular and invited
final papers
The peer assessment of all regular and invited papers will be complete,
with resulting acceptance/rejection decisions emailed to corresponding
authors, by February 16, 2009.
In the case of accepted papers, final submissions must be
uploaded before March 31, 2009 according to steps 1-4 detailed below.
Essential points regarding final paper submission are:
- As detailed in the acceptance emails, reviewer comments on
submitted
papers may be viewed by logging in using assigned PIN at the paper
submission web site.
- Authors are strongly encouraged to consider reviewer
comments and, where possible, revise their initial submissions to
accommodate them.
- Following this revision, final submissions must be
formatted according to the detailed instructions.
In particular, they must be no more than 6 pages, and should be typeset
in two column format, 10 point Times Roman font.
- Format checking during upload of final paper submission is
more
rigorous than for initial paper submission. In the latter case, only
page numbers were checked.
- For final submissions, many other aspects such as
consistency with
margin, font embedding and paper size specifications will be checked.
As such, it may well be the case that the format of your initial
submission will require modification before it can be accepted as a
final submission.
- Regarding the above, the paper
submission web site provides diagnostic tools should your paper
fail any acceptance criterion.
- Note also, that in order to provide the highest quality
presentation of the final preprints, a hand checking of all submissions
will be made by the CDROM publishers, who may require (and provide
assistance) via email for
further modifications of your final submission that are necessary for
final acceptance.
- Final paper submission is linked to registration in the
following way.
At least one author of a paper must have paid a full registration fee
before the final submission is accepted for upload. Please consult the registration page for detailed
instructions.
- If a final paper submission is not uploaded by March 31,
2009, it will be deleted from the Symposium Program.
